Welcome To The

Healing Paws Rescue

Healing Paws Rescue operates as a beacon of hope for dogs facing various challenges, offering them a haven where they can heal, grow, and rediscover the joys of life. As a non-profit, our focus extends beyond rescue and adoption—we are dedicated to promoting responsible pet ownership, advocating for spaying and neutering, and fostering a compassionate community.
Our tireless efforts aim to create a world where every dog is valued, cherished, and given the opportunity to thrive in a forever home. Through collaboration with our passionate supporters, volunteers, and communities, we strive to make a lasting impact on the lives of dogs and elevate the standards of animal welfare. Together, we are the voice for those who cannot speak, working towards a future where every paw finds a loving and caring home.”

Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.

The Dogs

The Joy of Dog Fostering

Regions have overflowing animal shelters filled with dogs in need of homes. Many are euthanized because there is simply no place for them to go. For rescue organizations, foster owners are one of their most valuable resources.

Healing Paws Rescue could not exist without volunteers.

Volunteer

As a private, nonprofit organization, we rely on the assistance of caring and hard-working volunteers to keep our rescue efforts going. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome adoptable and treatable dogs from high kill shelters. We are located in Minnesota, but we transport from any state. We do not have a shelter or facility at this time – all of our rescue dogs are in private homes. Despite not having a facility, there are many ways in which you can help. If you are interested in volunteering, please complete a Volunteer Application. If you have experience volunteering for another dog rescue organization or would like to take on a volunteer leadership position, we have these volunteer positions available.
